Hello to all who have found me online! I thank you for taking your time to read about my experiences and knowledge not just as a podiatrist, but also as a discoverer of natural remedies, treatments, and homeopathic options to make people healthier.
I have been practicing podiatry in a variety of settings including hospitals, my own small practice, and most recently, with a podiatry group in Fredericksburg, Virginia. After having my own practice in Athens, Pennsylvania for 12 years, I decided to open my life up to a change, and I joined Rappahannock Foot & Ankle Specialists in the fall of 2015. While I greatly enjoyed having my own practice, after joining this podiatry group I found that I have more time to research one of the other areas of medicine that interests me: alternative medicines and homeopathic treatments.
I truly believe that to feel our best, we must maintain a healthy diet. After many hours researching, I discovered an alkaline diet, which focuses on balancing the body’s pH. Since starting an alkaline diet in the beginning of 2016, I must say that I feel younger, healthier, and more energized than I have felt in a long time. Since feeling this rejuvenation, I’ve become more active and enjoy things that felt too exhausting before, like working with my horses and taking care of farm work, or walking and playing with my dogs.
This blog is meant to be a means of sharing my knowledge, research, and experiences with all of you. I will be posting updates on both foot and ankle care as well as diet and health information that may be beneficial to patients and blog visitors. Please, if you feel compelled, do leave a comment or send me a message for a blog post that you would like to see. I will share on my Facebook page whenever I post a new blog, so give that page a Like and Follow if you would like to be up-to-date on my latest posts!
